Description
Assist the yearling sale manager with fitting young horses, broodmares, and weanlings for the 2024 sale season.
Responsibilities
· Assist with halter breaking the yearlings and weanlings daily.
· Assist with bathing and grooming horses daily.
· Assist with exercising all fitting horses, show horses either on the walker or round pen.
· Assist with giving medications as necessary.
· Assist in maintaining a blanketing regimen defined by the yearling sales prep manager
Qualifications
· Horse Handling experience is required.
· Detailed Oriented
· Excellent Communication Skills
· Tolerance of a fast pace changing environment
